Today we learnt about audio recording and multi tracking! This went through all the basic microphone types and set ups and how to do some recording onto GarageBand.
Here are some basic notes I took in the lecture:

I felt like I got a lot of notes down, but I wasn't sure if I got all the detail completely accurate. Luckily James posted on Canvas some videos which went through the material about microphones we learnt in class. This was a really good way to go over the details again for my own learning, and will also be a great resource to draw upon in the future.

I was fairly confident with the aspect of recording on Garageband, as I have used the program before. However, I had not used a dynamic microphone and audio interface before. Both of these were easy to use and very fun to work with. The collaboration aspect of this part of the lesson was great as well, as it was great to meet fellow classmates and also share skills and experience.
One new thing I learnt was how to use the EQ. I tried using this capability on Garageband at home to see if I could remember how to use it.
Here is me experimenting with EQ
