First class!

Today was our first class, and it was so much fun. We started with acknowledgement to country and then some mindfulness. Super great way to start a class and so rarely done at university.

Then we went on to investigate Soundtrap. This was fun but I found it challenging using a iPad compared to a computer. The main thing I have taken from today is that I want to use a laptop or desktop computer for future lessons.

Unfortunately I don't have any time tonight to continue learning about Soundtrap on the computer and make a more comprehensive blog post. I intend to over the next few days continue to experiment and make a blog post about my findings.

On my iPad I succeeded in drawing and dropping prerecorded loops, repeating loops and recording my own loop.

James also taught us a lot more stuff which I did not keep up with on the iPad interface. I will go over these again when I continue experimenting.
